Girls Basketball
Instructor: Coach Felicia Lofton

The Clinton Lady Arrow basketball program is steeped in tradition.  The girls have won four state championships over the years with 2006 being the most recent.  Several young ladies from this program have been selected as the Metro Player of the Year, and many have gone on to have successful college basketball careers.  Members of the Lady Arrow basketball team are taught to be classy young ladies, and they are expected to excel in the classroom as well as on the court.

This is Felicia Lofton’s 15th year of coaching.  Although basketball is her primary sport, she has also coached volleyball, track, and cross country.  Currently she is the head girls’ basketball coach at ClintonHigh School where she led the Lady Arrows to a State Championship in 2006.  Prior to arriving at Clinton, Lofton was an assistant coach for three years at ForestHigh School, head coach at McLaurinHigh School for two years, and head coach at NorthwestRankinHigh School for five years. While at Northwest Rankin, Lofton went from 5-25 in her first season to 3 straight 20+ win seasons.  Lofton led the volleyball team to a 2nd place finish in the state.  That was the first time ever that a team from central Mississippi had made it to the state tournament in volleyball.

Outside of coaching, Lofton was an Outstanding Young Woman of America selection in 1997.
